Spring has sprung and you don’t want to be left in the dark. Whether preparing for Spring Break, a weekend getaway, or the summer (gasp!), I want to introduce you to an amazing product I use to prepare.
This post is gonna be a little bit more of a “big sister advice” post, so if you’re in for that, listen up!
During the winter, it’s easy to get away with lazy grooming or exercise routines, but when you start shedding layers as it starts to get warmer, there’s a lot more to think about in terms of upkeep.
In terms of “grooming” there is a huge laundry list (now more than ever) of options. Shaving, laser, wax, bleaching… the list goes on. As I’m sure you’re all aware (and I won’t go into the anatomy of it), hair grows differently in different parts of your body so it’s important to understand you might use different styles around your body. That’s perfectly normal and honestly smart- one size might not fit all when it comes to hair removal.
I have always just used razors but recently I was introduced to the brand new Clio palmperfect Bikini Trimmer. Being completely transparent, this post is sponsored by them but BOY OH BOY do I love my new lil’ tool and wouldn’t be sharing this with you if I wasn’t completely satisfied. This little guy travels everywhere with me now (yes, it came to London. My version of Flat Stanley?) . Not only is it small, but its efficient, close, and wireless so I always just bring it into the shower with me (it can also be used dry!). It’s a close shave so I can be confident wearing bikinis with nothing to worry about. They also include a dual blade trimmer so you can adjust your preferred length.
I definitely think there’s a time and place for razors (still use them for my underarms and legs) but there’s definitely no harm in experimenting with other styles of hair removal.
Moral of the story: Finding your shaving style is important and you can really benefit from trying different things out to see what works best with your body. A “shaving routine” was never really on my radar until recently but now that I have started paying attention to the benefits I wouldn’t go back. I was so lucky to get to work with Clio and discover their product and I hope if you’re interested you get the opportunity to try it out too!
Before I finish, a little disclaimer: having body hair is natural and normal and there’s no one “right” way to deal with it. In fact, you don’t have to deal with it at all if that is what you prefer. This is my experience and advice- take it as you please.
